Established in 1986, Judkins P-Patch is small community garden tucked away in the Judkins Park neighborhood with about two dozen garden plots. After decades of love from the community, in 2013 the gardeners received $50,000 from the Parks and Green Spaces Levy to do their very first upgrade project. They chose Harrison Design to develop a master plan and prepare drawings for their top priority (phase one) projects.

The planning phase is now underway and the gardeners’ priorities are clear: to create more space for additional gardeners, clean up the overgrown borders along the streets and alley, build a new shed, and create comfortable gathering spaces for socializing and cooking.
